Decoupage a Purse by Vera Lucia
Original Tissue Decoupage Papers, Flexible & Sturdy with a Hand-Painted Look!!!
Each sheet is 8-1/2" x 11" with multiple laser printed images
 

 

Step 1
A very shabby purse. I bought it for $4 in a corner shop. I liked it for its size, removable handle and lining.

 

 

 

 

Step 2
Make templates for purse.

Step 3
I used this delicate roses motif and cut the paper from the template.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4
I started gluing from the bottom.  Use Elmers Glue-all for this project.

Step 5
Add the sides and a generous coat of glitter to the decoupage purse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6
 Use 10 coats of acrylic varnish and 2 coats of clear oil based varnish.

 

Step 7
Let the coats dry very well.

Step 8
The handle was made using the beads of a vintage necklace.
